Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

  • Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up of UV disinfection systems at customer locations.
  • Verify equipment installation as per engineering drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Configure and test electrical, mechanical, and control system components.
  • Conduct performance validation and operational checks during project handover.
  • Provide customer training on operation and routine maintenance of UV systems.

Service & Maintenance

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for UV equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control-related issues.
  • Replace and repair faulty components including lamps, ballasts, sensors, actuators, power supplies, motors, pumps, valves, and control panels.
  • Perform system inspections and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
  • Maintain service records and submit detailed service reports after each site visit.

Electro-Mechanical Support

  • Troubleshoot and maintain:
    • UV reactors and chambers
    • Electrical control panels
    • PLC-based control systems
    • Sensors and instrumentation
    • Pumps and motors
    • Actuated valves
    • Power distribution systems
    • Wiring and cable connections
  • Interpret electrical schematics, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&ID drawings.
  • Conduct electrical measurements using testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.

Customer Support

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and breakdown situations.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding service schedules, spare parts requirements, and system upgrades.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance reports.
  • Maintain service logs, visit reports, and equipment history records.
  • Submit travel expenses, service documentation, and customer feedback reports on time.
  • Assist in preparing technical service manuals and maintenance procedures.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow company EHS guidelines and customer site safety requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments before carrying out field activities.
