We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scrum Master to guide our Agile teams in delivering exceptional software solutions. This role focuses on enabling high-quality delivery outcomes, fostering team collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement through automation, measurable performance, and modern productivity practices. The ideal candidate is a servant leader and trusted coach who excels at removing impediments, improving delivery predictability, and nurturing scalable Agile practices that empower teams to deliver faster with clarity and confidence.

Responsibilities

Strategic Delivery & Agile Leadership

  • Lead Agile delivery across multiple teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, OKRs, and product strategy
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to maintain prioritized backlogs that reflect key risks, dependencies, and opportunities
  • Identify and address systemic delivery challenges, recommend improvements to processes, team structures, and tools to enhance efficiency and predictability

AI-Enhanced Delivery & Reduction of Manual Work

  • Introduce and champion AI-powered tools to streamline delivery workflows, automate administrative tasks, accelerate estimation and planning, and increase team productivity
  • Evaluate, implement, and scale automation solutions that eliminate repeatable manual work (e.g., sprint reporting, dependency mapping, risk forecasting)

Metrics-Driven Delivery Excellence

  • Drive delivery excellence by enhancing team agility metrics, including predictability, lead time, throughput, and velocity
  • Analyze performance trends across squads and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement
  • Build automated dashboards and reporting pipelines, ensuring metrics are consistently available, reliable, and visible to teams and leadership
  • Establish and maintain audit-ready delivery practices aligned with regulatory standards

Project & Program Delivery

  • Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, outcomes, and success criteria that align with strategic organizational priorities
  • Ensure team backlogs are well-groomed, aligned, and understood, facilitating effective planning, forecasting, and delivery
  • Oversee delivery timelines, proactively mitigating risks, and obstacles to ensure predictable, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes
  • Drive cross-team coordination and ensure alignment for initiatives involving multiple systems, teams, or business units

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Foster a culture of open communication and collaborative problem-solving to quickly remove impediments and turn early detected mistakes into learning opportunities
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure seamless delivery and goal alignment
  • Lead Agile transformation and maturity efforts, ensuring teams adopt leading-edge practices supported by automation, systems thinking and actionable insights

Collaboration, Facilitation & Team Culture

  • Coach and mentor Scrum Masters and delivery team members to strengthen Agile practices, and leadership capabilities
  • Foster a culture of shared ownership, transparency, and continuous learning
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, cross-team workshops, quarterly planning sessions, and retrospectives to drive alignment and improvement

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Adapt communication styles to engage diverse stakeholders, including engineering, product, compliance, and executive leadership
  • Provide clear, timely, data-driven updates on progress, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Navigate conflicts diplomatically, enabling constructive dialogue and resolution that supports team and organizational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; Agile or program management certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) are a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in Agile delivery, including 8+ years of experience working in project delivery
  • Hands on experience and strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the ability to adapt practices to organizational needs
  • Demonstrated experience implementing scalable Agile practices across multiple teams or large programs
  • Experience delivering medium/large complex projects scheduling across multiple Teams
  • Experience integrating AI tools, automation, or intelligent assistants into delivery workflows is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps principles, and modern engineering practices
  • Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Monday.com)and building automated dashboards for metrics reporting
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills; able to influence without authority
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, especially in complex delivery environments
  • Experience leading Agile transformations and improving delivery excellence functions in scaling organizations
  • Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) is an asset
  • Ability to integrate or adopt AI tools in day-to-day tasks

Salary Range

$100,000 – $125,000

Final compensation is determined by market conditions, location, and the candidate’s experience, skills, and education. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentive programs and total compensation may include variable incentives, such as bonuses and commissions.
