Working as part of a diverse cross-functional team, you will be leading RDQ activities required to drive the RITZ growth strategy.

The candidate willbe responsibleforthe ProductDevelopment in RITZNorth America This role includesa mix ofmaintenanceprojectswithinthe RITZas well assupporting the team with theinnovationpipeline

The candidatemayown productivity, ingredient substitutions, quality improvement, consumer complaintreduction,and line extensions for the brand. The candidate willrepresentR&Dinteractingwith marketing, operations, and quality leads to develop,coordinate,and commercialize brand projects/programs.They will beakeyintersectbetweenR&D withthecommercial team, the wider cross-functional team,andourconsumers& customers

Thecandidate should havedemonstratedability to:

  • Support cross-functional team toidentifyopportunities for the brandbased on business priorities and consumerneeds

  • Work with across-functionalteam to plan and execute a robust approach to fulfilling the identified needs

  • Providetechnicalinput to project teamsandact as alinkage back to the internal / external technical community

  • Design experiments, analyze results,and translatethem into actionablerecommendationswith minimal guidance and support.

  • Understand the functional characteristics ofproductingredients,formulations,and process, including how theyimpactfinished products to meet consumer expectations

  • Manage awide-agendaof varying priorities with strong time-management and organization

  • Have knowledge of the commercialization process(how to take products from idea to market)and how to execute these processes with the right-fitagility.

  • Think end to endtoproactively assessrisks and develop right-fit mitigation plansbased on the probability and impact

The candidate must be versatile, able to work in cross-functional teams, and be capable of working proactively across multiple projects. The candidate should be able toleverageexperts/partnerstoensure compliancewithdocumentation, shelf life, regulatoryrequirements,and confidentiality requirements.

Education / Certifications:

BS in Food Science, ChemicalEngineering,FoodEngineeringor related field.

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum of5years of experience, preferably in the food industry.

  • Strong technical foundation and technical curiosityKnowledge of biscuit formulationprocessesis a strong plus.

  • Able to develop and drive technical projectswith proper scientific rigor: conductappropriate testing,gather,and analyze data, and develop recommendations based on findings& businesscontexts

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects,prioritizeand manage complexity

  • Participate in cross functional teams toidentifyand resolve technical issues.

  • Write process specifications that deliver consistent, high-quality products acrossnumerousmanufacturing facilities.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills(Englishrequired, Spanish a plus); able to effectively communicate to all levels within theorganization.

Travel requirements:

Travel up to25%-30%to locationsmainly intheUS+ potential for other domestic or international locations.

Work schedule:

On-site role based in East Hanover, NJ with a hybrid schedule.

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $86,900 to $119,515; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
In
addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time.
