SAP Sales and Distribution Consultant Job Description

Responsibilities for SAP Sales and Distribution consultant
Requirements Gathering - Understand and document detailed business needs
related to sales, order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and customer
service processes.
Responsible for creating technical designs and functional specifications
System Configuration - Configure SAP SD module based on business
requirements, including organizational structures, customer master data, pricing
conditions, output determination, and delivery processes.
Implementation Support - Participate in design, development, testing,
deployment, and post-implementation support for enhancement and projects.
Integrate with related areas - Integration of SAP SD with other modules like MM, EWM, FI, and CO. Display understanding of the Business Processes and
functional knowledge of several SAP modules
Issue Resolution – Troubleshoot, identify and resolve issues related to SAP SD
functionality, including data discrepancies and system errors.
User Training - Develop end-user training materials on SAP SD functionalities
and best practices.
Documentation - Create functional specifications and technical documentation for SD configuration and developments.
Effectively communicates with business and other functional analysts to
understand and deliver on given requirements
Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, functional and technical team members, and users
Mandatory English language
Must be available to work some US hours Qualifications for SAP SD consultant
Deep understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Private Cloud and Fiori for the SD
module functionalities, including sales order management, pricing, delivery,
billing, and customer service
10+ years in SAP SD with hands on experience in analysis, technical design
configuration and testing
Experience with configurable materials, serialization and make to order sales
Knowledge of SAP integration points with other modules like MM, EWM, FI and
CO
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business
stakeholders
Experience with use of SAP SD in the Automotive industry desired
Knowledge of vehicle related modules like VMS a plus
Must have knowledge or expertise in interfaces and integration to external
platforms from SAP SD, such as the use of APIs
