Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable Salesforce solutions that support business objectives and enterprise technology strategies. This role works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Administrators, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce capabilities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, nCino, and integrated enterprise platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs, develops, and maintains custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Builds, supports, and maintains integrations between Salesforce, nCino, and other enterprise applications.
  • Develops scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Participates in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborates with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Performs unit testing, code reviews, deployment validation, and regression testing.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves production incidents, defects, and performance issues.
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation, including solution designs, data models, and integration specifications.
  • Follows CI/CD, source control, release management, and coding best practices.
  • Partners with the Salesforce/nCino delivery team to reduce technical debt and improve platform scalability and reusability.
  • Supports release deployments and post-production stabilization activities.
  • Continuously evaluates new Salesforce capabilities and recommends platform improvements.

Project Lifecycle Support:

  • Leads functional and technical workshops, demonstrating leadership skills in designing, delivering, testing, and deploying solutions
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to the Salesforce Platform team, driving conversations with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to shape the architectural vision and establishes an architectural program roadmap
  • Manages user expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems with both users and third-party stakeholders
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, required.

Experience

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, required.

Required experience with:

  • Apex.
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • SOQL/SOSL.
  • Salesforce APIs and integrations.
  • Salesforce Security Model.
  • Git-based source control.
  • CI/CD deployment tools (Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Experience designing scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions, required.

Preferred experience with:

  • Financial Services Cloud.
  • nCino.
  • MuleSoft.
  • Banking or Financial Services industry.
  • DevOps and automated testing frameworks.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification, preferred.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, required.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, required.
