This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Salesforce Developer based in Brazil.
This is a senior engineering opportunity focused on building, optimizing, and supporting enterprise Salesforce Service Cloud environments.
You will work on customer support and operations platforms used at scale, with a strong focus on reliability, automation, and agent productivity.
The role combines hands-on Salesforce development with production support, integrations, and operational ownership.
You will contribute to initiatives involving AI-powered case management, omnichannel routing, bulk communications, and data integrations.
You will collaborate with distributed international teams and work closely with technical and operational stakeholders.
The environment is highly collaborative and remote, with a strong emphasis on engineering quality, continuous improvement, and platform availability.
This is an ideal role for a senior Salesforce engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and taking end-to-end ownership of critical systems.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Salesforce Service Cloud solutions, including case management, knowledge repositories, agent assistance tools, and operational workflows.
- Build and deliver technical improvements across AI-driven case summarization, bulk communications, omnichannel routing, case orchestration, and automated agent feedback capabilities.
- Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce integrations with external applications, downstream systems, and enterprise data platforms, including Snowflake.
- Participate in a Developer Fast-Response Engineer rotation, monitoring platform health, triaging alerts, investigating incidents, and resolving routing, automation, and production issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for technical incidents and implement improvements that strengthen platform reliability and prevent recurring issues.
- Monitor operational KPIs and system performance, contributing to regular operations reviews and continuous platform optimization.
- Maintain clear technical documentation, incident records, system knowledge, and operational procedures using collaboration and documentation platforms such as Confluence.
- Collaborate effectively with distributed engineering, operations, and client-facing teams while maintaining alignment with Eastern Time business hours.
- Take ownership of assigned engineering initiatives from technical design through implementation, deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience as a Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Engineer, with hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows.
- Proven experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Omnichannel, including case management, routing, automation, and work orchestration.
- Solid background in production support, incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and root-cause analysis for business-critical platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Salesforce API integrations with external systems and enterprise platforms.
- Experience building or supporting Salesforce-to-Snowflake data integration or streaming pipelines is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with enterprise observability tools, monitoring dashboards, operational KPIs, and reliability practices.
- Experience working in a Developer Fast Response (DFR), Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar operational support environment is a strong advantage.
- Exposure to AI-powered Salesforce capabilities, AI-assisted case management, or autonomous/agentic AI integrations is preferred.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud Consultant, or System Architect are valued.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, combined with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, as English is used for interviews, documentation, and day-to-day collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed international teams and maintain approximately ±2 hours of overlap with Eastern Time (ET)
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability, particularly when supporting production systems and high-priority incidents.
