Job Description

About the Role

The US & Canada Digital Sales Center (DSC) is responsible for building and operating scaled commercial channels that acquire, activate, grow, and retain merchants across the Uber Eats marketplace.

We are looking for a Sr. Ops Manager to own the strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of key scaled sales programs across US & Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of Sales Operations, Program Management, and Commercial Strategy. You will serve as the commercial owner of key sales programs, accountable for driving them toward their targets. You will translate commercial goals into actionable plans, analyze performance to identify the biggest opportunities and barriers to growth, and develop strategies to improve sales output. You will work across a broad set of cross-functional partners to turn those strategies into action, drive accountability, remove blockers, and ensure programs deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

You will work across Sales, Vendor Management/BPO partners, Finance, Product, Sales Operations, Analytics, Enablement, and other Operations teams to ensure our sales programs have the right strategy, processes, tools, and operating mechanisms to deliver results.

Success requires someone who can move seamlessly between operating and improving a sales business: understanding why a program is missing its target, identifying the highest-impact intervention, aligning stakeholders around a solution, driving execution, and clearly communicating progress and recommendations to senior leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the commercial owner for scaled sales programs, accountable for driving the business toward its acquisition, revenue, productivity, and other commercial targets
  • Develop a deep understanding of program performance and the underlying sales funnel, including pipeline, seller productivity, contact rates, conversion, and other key drivers of output
  • Translate commercial goals into clear strategies, priorities, and execution plans while identifying performance drivers and necessary actions to improve overall program output
  • Bring together cross-functional stakeholders to establish clear ownership, deliverables, timelines, and success measures, holding them accountable to ensure initiatives move seamlessly from strategy through execution to measurable commercial impact while balancing long-term investments

Improve Sales Output

  • Use data to identify the biggest opportunities to increase sales productivity, conversion, and overall commercial output
  • Conduct root-cause analyses to understand performance gaps and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Develop and test new approaches across lead strategy, segmentation, seller workflows, sales processes, incentives, tooling, automation, and operating models
  • Partner cross-functionally to implement improvements and measure whether changes produce the intended commercial impact
  • Continuously identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and AI to increase seller effectiveness and improve the merchant experience

Influence Strategy & Decision-Making

  • Build business cases and recommendations for investments, process changes, technology, headcount, and new commercial strategies
  • Translate complex performance trends and analyses into clear narratives that articulate what is happening, why it matters, and what we should do next
  • Influence stakeholders without direct authority to build alignment across teams with different priorities, serving as the subject matter expert to represent program needs across the organization

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, Program Management, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and experience working with large datasets
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, or a sales-driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience owning a business, program, or workstream against measurable targets, including building go-to-market strategies for multi-product or multi-segment businesses
  • Strong analytical skills and foundation with the ability to diagnose performance, identify root causes, interrogate data, build business cases, and translate findings into action, including experience using SQL and/or similar analytical tools to independently investigate business questions
  • Strong program management skills with demonstrated ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders, connecting operational decisions to commercial outcomes
  • Exceptional executive written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and delivering impactful presentations to leadership audiences without requiring a rehearsal cycle
  • Experience supporting or operating scaled, inside-sales, or BPO sales organizations, with a strong understanding of sales funnels, pipeline management, seller productivity, conversion, and performance drivers
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales productivity tools
  • Proven track record of using data to identify business opportunities, build business cases, and influence investment decisions while holding cross-functional stakeholders accountable without direct authority to drive measurable commercial impact
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with significant ownership and autonomy
