Supermicro is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead and expand our business across the German mid-market and upper mid-market segment. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong customer and partner relationships, and developing a scalable go-to-market strategy for this important market segment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in the IT infrastructure, server, storage, or data center industry, has an established network within the German business ecosystem, and understands how to address the needs of medium-sized enterprises as well as larger upper mid-market organizations. In addition to managing direct sales activities, this person will be expected to build and lead a dedicated Mid-Market Sales team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth and market share across the German mid-market and upper mid-market customer segment.
  • Develop and execute a focused sales strategy for medium-sized businesses and larger mid-sized enterprise accounts in Germany.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Supermicro’s server, storage, AI, cloud, and data center solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end customers, channel partners, system integrators, resellers, and other key stakeholders in the German market.
  • Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing Mid-Market Sales team to support scalable growth in the segment.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure strong execution, pipeline development, and achievement of sales targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams including business development, pre-sales, marketing, operations, and executive leadership to support customer success and accelerate growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to refine the sales approach and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and account planning with accuracy and discipline.
  • Represent Supermicro at customer meetings, partner events, trade shows, and industry activities relevant to the German mid-market space.
  • Ensure a strong customer-first approach while maintaining commercial discipline and profitable growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Several years of successful sales experience in the server, storage, IT infrastructure, cloud, or data center industry.
  • Proven track record of selling into the German Mittelstand and upper mid-market.
  • Strong network within the German IT partner ecosystem and customer landscape.
  • Experience in building, leading, and developing successful sales teams is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of solution selling and consultative sales in complex technology environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and drive growth in a strategic market segment.
  • Fluent in German and English.

Preferred Profile:

  • Strong knowledge of the German regional business landscape and buying behavior within mid-sized enterprises.
  • Experience working with channel partners and indirect sales models.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Passion for technology and for building teams and business structures from the ground up.
