About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Development Analyst – Annuity Platforms to support annuity order entry who will serve as a critical execution and technical analysis leader. This role combines product configuration, technical analysis, and ongoing electronic order entry operations, and plays a key part of enabling enterprise sales growth and revenue by ensuring the timely delivery, accuracy, and stability of annuity products across electronic distribution channels.
This position partners closely with Sales, Product, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and external vendors to support new product launches, enhancements, and ongoing platform reliability. The role requires both strong execution discipline and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions across interconnected systems.
What You’ll Do:
Annuity Electronic Order Entry Product Configuration & Platform Execution
• Partner with business and technology teams to clarify requirements and ensure successful implementation
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations
• Analyze upstream and downstream system impacts of product changes and platform updates
• Configure, test, and deploy annuity products and enhancements across electronic order entry platforms
• Support timely delivery of new annuity product launches and major product enhancements aligned with enterprise priorities
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of electronic product configurations and forms
Platform Support & Operational Readiness
• Provide subject matter expertise for annuity electronic order entry platforms, processes, and capabilities
• Support release planning, controlled deployments, and post release validation activities
• Provide production support and troubleshooting to minimize disruptions, reduce NIGO rates, and maintain operational stability
Cross Functional & Vendor Partnership
• Partner with Product, Sales, Operations, Technology, and Compliance teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and executed
• Collaborate with third party platform vendors (e.g., Ebix, FireLight, iPipeline) to support enhancements, issue resolution, and ongoing maintenance
• Support electronic data feeds and integrations (e.g., DTCC, distributor platforms)
• Participate in enterprise initiatives impacting electronic order entry, servicing, and distribution enablement
• Review vendor release documentation and assess business and system impacts
• Partner with QA/testing teams to coordinate unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Process Rigor & Risk Management
• Support documentation standardization, configuration best practices, and testing discipline
• Identify risks related to product setup, platform dependencies, and release timing; escalate appropriately
• Contribute to operational resilience through cross training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring:
• 5+ years of experience in sales support, sales development, or product configuration within life insurance or annuities
• Strong experience supporting annuity electronic order entry platforms, product builds, or policy administration systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality execution in a deadline driven environment
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and operational stability
• Ability to partner effectively across Sales, Product, Operations, Technology, and Compliance teams
• Excellent problem solving, organization, and communication skills
• Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor with ownership over execution outcomes

Technical Skills
• Annuity electronic order entry and product configuration platforms (e.g., Ebix, FireLight, iPipeline, VTXml)
• Data mapping, XML, and forms tagging
• Electronic feeds and integrations (e.g., DTCC, ACORD L&A Standards)
• Release planning, testing coordination, and production support
• Forms management and product documentation
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to interpret product specifications and translate them into accurate system configurations
