We are seeking an experienced Sr. Sales Analyst to support our LATAM Sales organization from our Mexico City office. This role serves as a senior individual contributor responsible for developing sophisticated financial, commercial, and technical analyses that drive strategic sales decisions and business growth across the region.

The Sales Analyst independently develops complex pricing models, financial analyses, commercial proposals, and deal structures while partnering closely with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Operations. This position requires sound business judgment, the ability to evaluate multiple variables and business risks, and the capability to influence commercial strategy through data-driven insights.

The successful candidate applies deep professional knowledge to solve complex business challenges, improves sales processes and methodologies, and serves as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance complex financial, commercial, and energy models supporting strategic customer opportunities.
  • Lead the development of pricing strategies, commercial proposals, and quotations for utility-scale solar projects, balancing customer requirements, profitability, and business objectives.
  • Evaluate complex commercial opportunities by analyzing technical, financial, operational, and market variables to recommend optimal deal structures.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to develop competitive bid strategies and provide analytical recommendations that improve win rates and business performance.
  • Independently determine analytical approaches and methodologies for new business opportunities and evolving market conditions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of sales tools, proposal processes, financial models, reporting, and CRM capabilities.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce CRM and NetSuite reporting, recommending and implementing process enhancements that improve data quality and business visibility.
  • Develop executive-level dashboards, forecasting models, and business presentations that support commercial and operational decision-making.
  • Analyze sales performance, pricing trends, customer behavior, market dynamics, and pipeline metrics to identify strategic opportunities and business risks.
  • Collaborate across Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Operations, Customer Success, and Product Management to ensure commercial solutions align with operational capabilities and customer expectations.
  • Provide guidance and analytical expertise to Sales team members and cross-functional stakeholders on complex commercial matters.
  • Build effective relationships with regional and global business partners to influence commercial outcomes and support organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and standardization of commercial policies, analytical methodologies, and best practices across the Sales organization.
  • Support Sales Operations leadership on strategic initiatives and high-impact business projects.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related technical discipline. Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of:
    • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or
    • 6 to 8 years with a Master's degree, or
    • 3 to 5 years with a PhD,
      or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced experience in financial modeling, commercial analysis, sales operations, pricing strategy, or business analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems involving multiple variables and develop effective, data-driven solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business reporting tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, NetSuite ERP, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, business modeling, forecasting, and commercial decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred

  • Experience within the renewable energy, solar, EPC, or infrastructure industries.
  • Experience supporting global or multinational commercial organizations.
  • Knowledge of utility-scale solar project economics and commercial contracting.
  • Experience developing business intelligence dashboards and advanced analytics.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related considerations. The annual target total cash compensation for this position is $750,000–$980,000, which includes base salary and target commission. Actual compensation may vary based on sales target achievements. This role is also eligible for equity as part of the total compensation package.
