The Amazon Web Services (AWS) sales organization is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to grow and lead a team of Solutions Architects who support our largest Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) customers. In this role you and your team will partner with sellers as part of an account team, to drive business outcomes for your customers. You will lead, motivate, and coach your team in developing relationships with technical executives, guide customers in using architecture best practices, partner with product teams to invent new solutions on behalf of your customers, develop internal processes. You will also coach your team in scaling their learnings through internal and external publications and speaking engagements.

Your customers consist of the largest public and fastest growing software companies who provide solutions for enterprises, processing billions of transactions per day. Key job responsibilities
- Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects
- Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to work with ISV customers to transfer deep technical knowledge
- As a key member of the solutions architecture team, ensure success in building, migrating and modernizing applications, software and services on AWS
- Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support

Key job responsibilities
- Ensure you and you team delivers software solutions on AWS that lead to business outcomes, including migrations to AWS and global expansion of existing customer services.
- Partner and coach your team to partner with supporting specialist and service teams in developing solutions.
- Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects including Principal Solutions Architects.
- Develop relationships with your customers’ key technical executives and decision makers.
- Contribute to ideation discussions with your customers, making them aware of the AWS service capabilities.
- Coach your team to share their learning internally and externally both written and through speaking engagements.
- Leverage your strong writing skills to produce high quality documents that propose new processes or inventions.
- Become an expert in AWS leadership principles and coach your team to become role models.

Basic Qualifications


- 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
