Imagine a future where you help accelerate Taiwan's energy transition together with national and local stakeholders

Join us in this role where you’ll lead marine affairs activities to support the development, construction, and operational phases of our offshore wind projects. Our team is made up of experienced and dedicated experts who work closely with colleagues across the business. We shape and strengthen the external policy, regulatory framework, and stakeholder environment to enable our business to succeed in Taiwan.

As a team, we work across boundaries, combining diverse expertise to solve complex challenges. We trust each other, take ownership, challenge ourselves beyond our comfort zones, and are committed to delivering lasting value with excellence. We are here to make a difference. Together, we navigate a complex and evolving external environment to advance Taiwan's energy transition and sustainable development.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing and implementing strategies for external communication with relevant authorities and state-owned companies related to the offshore wind industry
  • establishing and maintaining contacts with relevant political stakeholders in high-level government departments, parliament, ministries, and political parties
  • driving the industry agenda by participating in industry association meetings, engaging with industry stakeholders, including peers, supply chain partners, and opinion leaders to ensure our interests are represented in the market
  • working closely with internal departments across value chain and connecting with Global Regulatory & Public Affairs to drive business objectives forward

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have at least 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs, public affairs, and stakeholder relations in Taiwan, with a strong understanding of the complex environment in which energy policy is shaped
  • have strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance stakeholder considerations and business priorities in a dynamic environment
  • are an agile problem solver with both strategic thinking and hands-on abilities
  • have excellent Mandarin Chinese and English interpersonal and communication skills across diverse audiences.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.

About Ørsted

Within a decade, we transformed from being one of Europe’s most fossil fuel-intensive utilities to being ranked as one of the most sustainable energy companies in the world. Today, we’re guided by a clear vision: to create a world that runs entirely on green energy.
