Seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a civil engineering license to lead cost management, procurement, and financial oversight on major projects while mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and control costs
  • Develop procurement strategies and manage competitive bidding processes
  • Administer contracts and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Process variation orders, claims, and prepare final accounts
  • Mentor junior quantity surveyors and collaborate with project teams
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and financial obligations

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Civil Engineer (current, valid license)
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Minimum 10 years as a Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software (Bluebeam, CostX, etc.) and MS Office
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and contract forms (FIDIC, AIA, NEC)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification in quantity surveying (RICS, AIQS)
  • BIM and project management experience
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Experience with international or complex projects
