Job Description

Senior Quality Control Inspector

Location: Burlington, MA

Join a collaborative quality team focused on ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. This role is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products while supporting quality system activities in a regulated manufacturing environment.

How Will You Make an Impact?

You will play a critical role in maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance by conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, supporting manufacturing operations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality throughout the product lifecycle.

What Will You Do?

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of components, assemblies, and finished goods.
  • Utilize metrology and inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, CMMs, vision systems, and other measurement tools.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Review device history records and quality documentation to support product release activities.
  • Conduct line clearances, labeling inspections, and manufacturing verification activities.
  • Support environmental monitoring, compliance audits, equipment validation, and product testing programs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve inspection processes and quality systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

How Will You Get Here?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6+ years of experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of quality system regulations and good documentation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a cleanroom, manufacturing, or regulated production environment is preferred.
