Job Description

Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable test automation solutions using modern tools and frameworks. Chip in to improving product quality through automation, CI/CD integration, and adoption of AI-enabled testing practices, while collaborating closely with multi-functional teams and supporting standards in quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to best practices in test automation, code quality, and framework design
• Design, build and maintain reliable, scalable, and maintainable test suites
• Implement efficient locator strategies (CSS, XPath, Playwright locators, etc.) to improve stability
• Leverage AI/Agent-based automation approaches to enhance productivity and test coverage
• Drive adoption of modern automation tools (Playwright / Selenium)
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless execution
• Perform root cause analysis of test failures and reduce test flakiness
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps for shift-left testing
• Share knowledge and mentor team members on automation standards and modern practices

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Test Automation
• Strong expertise in Selenium and/or Playwright
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python
• Hands-on experience with locator strategies (dynamic elements, shadow DOM, iframes, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI Agents / intelligent automation tools for test generation or execution
• Experience using Visual Studio Code with Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools
• Solid understanding of web technologies (DOM, APIs, browser behavior)
• Experience with test frameworks, assertions, and reporting tools
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have:

• Experience in API automation (REST/GraphQL)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Exposure to performance and security testing
• Understanding of cloud-based test execution and parallelization
• Experience in test data management and mocking/stubbing

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Contribute to automation strategy and continuously improve engineering practices
• Mentor and support team members on automation standards and tools
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Proactive mindset toward learning and continuous improvement

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Passion for modern test automation and AI-driven testing
• Focus on improving efficiency and reducing manual effort
• Strong hands-on contributor with ability to guide and influence peers
