About the Role

Indus Net Technologies is looking for a highly independent and experienced Senior Manual QA Tester to join our development team. We are seeking a self-driven professional who can quickly understand complex systems, work with minimal supervision, and contribute effectively in a structured and proactive manner.

The ideal candidate must be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of testing features even when specifications are high-level. Excellent communication skills are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Independently study onboarding materials and system documentation

Explore applications and develop a strong functional understanding before raising queries

Retain and utilize context from daily/refinement discussions during testing cycles

Perform thorough manual testing of web applications and backend systems

Test features based on high-level requirements and business understanding

Write and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans

Document findings, processes, and system knowledge for future team reference

Perform SQL queries including joins for data validation

Conduct REST API testing using Postman

Review and understand basic C#/.NET code for validation and debugging

Use Git for version control (basic operations)

Ensure high-quality deliverables within timelines

Maintain 3–4 hours overlap with CET time zone

Mandatory Skills

8+ years of experience in Manual Testing (Web + Backend)

Strong SQL knowledge (queries, joins, data validation)

Hands-on experience in REST API testing (Postman)

Ability to read and understand C#/.NET code (basic level)

Git basics

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Very good English communication skills (verbal and written)

Reliable, structured, and proactive work approach

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have

Automation testing experience (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright)

Experience with Azure DevOps

Knowledge of Microservices architecture / RabbitMQ

Docker knowledge

Experience working with European clients

Immediate to 30 days joiners only

Must be willing to work 5 days from office (Kolkata)

Mandatory availability for face-to-face final interview round at Kolkata office
