About the Role:
As the Senior Project Manager, Marketing, you will lead the planning and execution of key marketing initiatives across brand, creative, media, digital, and customer experience. You will help move complex projects from concept through launch by managing priorities, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables while ensuring teams remain aligned and accountable. You will work closely with partners across Marketing, Digital, IT, Merchandising, Store Operations, Legal, Finance, and external agencies to bring organization, clarity, and structure to cross-functional initiatives. You will also partner with the Head of Enterprise Transformation to coordinate and track broader cross-functional initiatives that impact Marketing, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, milestones, and dependencies. In addition, you will play an important role in improving how the Marketing team works by establishing effective project management practices, strengthening workflows, and providing clear visibility into project status, risks, and milestones. The Sr. Project Manager will report to the SVP, Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities Include:
Project Leadership
- Lead complex marketing projects from initial planning through execution, launch, and post-launch support.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while balancing priorities and ensuring work remains on schedule.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, milestones, and decision points across project teams.
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks and partner with stakeholders to develop solutions.
- Drive accountability for commitments, deliverables, and key project decisions.
Digital Experience & Marketing Technology
- Partner with Digital, Product, IT, and Marketing teams to manage digital and customer experience initiatives.
- Support the delivery of website enhancements, mobile app initiatives, CRM and loyalty programs, customer journey improvements, and marketing technology projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional requirements, testing, launch readiness, implementation, and post-launch support.
- Ensure digital initiatives remain aligned with overall marketing priorities and customer experience objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a primary marketing project lead across Marketing, Media, Merchandising, IT, Store Operations, Legal, Finance, and agency partners.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder reviews to drive alignment, decisions, and next steps.
- Establish clear communication across project teams and ensure stakeholders understand priorities, timelines, dependencies, and responsibilities.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and help teams navigate competing priorities and complex project requirements.
- Coordinate with agency and vendor partners to ensure deliverables, timelines, and expectations are clearly defined and managed.
Process & Marketing Operations
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows, project management practices, and ways of working.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, marketing calendars, project plans, and status reporting.
- Create greater visibility across the Marketing portfolio to support prioritization and resource planning.
- Establish consistent processes and tools that improve project execution, communication, and accountability.
- Support vendor coordination and ensure work is delivered in alignment with established brand standards.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide regular project and portfolio updates to Marketing leadership and key stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate project status, key milestones, decisions, dependencies, risks, and areas requiring leadership attention.
- Translate complex project information into clear, actionable updates that enable timely decision-making.
- Maintain visibility into upcoming milestones and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
About The Pay:
- Base Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 Annually

About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of marketing project management experience, including experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience managing digital marketing or customer experience initiatives.
- Experience working with websites, mobile applications, CRM, marketing technology, and digital product teams.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and how multiple marketing channels and functions come together to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
- Experience managing agency partners and coordinating work across internal and external teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to create clarity, build alignment, and drive accountability across teams.
- Ability to proactively identify risks, resolve roadblocks, and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Asana.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Retail, grocery, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies preferred.
