
The Sr. Project Manager plays a critical role in the Program Management team, directly supporting Product Development projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle from Discovery through Commercialization. The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for scope/schedule/budget, and leading the multi-disciplinary Integrated Project Team (IPT) in planning, execution, managing risk, and resolving issues to reach critical milestones. The Sr. Project Manager will facilitate cross-functional IPT, prototype build, PREP (Production Readiness and Execution Processes) and other project meetings essential to the success of the project.
Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to, identifying and recording action items, tactical issue mitigation, developing and maintaining project schedules, periodic reporting of KPIs, BOM cost management, continuous improvements, and other tasks as assigned by Program/Platform leadership. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of Cirrus Manufacturing and Product Development processes, and actively pursuing a career path in Program Management. This position requires a high degree of interaction and communication with multiple departments at multiple levels, as well as external stakeholders and therefore communication, professionalism, and team skills are critical. The Senior Project Manager may lead projects directly, and/or support Sr. Program Managers/Platform Directors on large, highly complex, multi-year programs to meet high-level Company goals.
