The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00

As a Sr. Project Manager – Fulfillment Optimization, Flexible Fulfillment, you will support one of Fulfillment Optimization's core functional areas—Eligibility & Availability—for Target's suite of flexible fulfillment services. Working at the intersection of Product, Store Operations, Digital Operations, Merchandising, and Planning & Inventory Management, you will ensure fulfillment eligibility and availability processes and products operate as intended while identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes.

This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day health of eligibility and availability capabilities through cross-functional partnership, issue resolution, system maintenance, and continuous process optimization. You will partner closely with Product teams to validate functionality, troubleshoot issues, and develop business cases for enhancements that improve operational performance, team member experiences, and guest outcomes. Responsibilities include:

Support Eligibility & Availability Operations

  • Monitor and support the day-to-day health of flexible fulfillment eligibility and availability capabilities, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.

Drive Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with Merchandising, Planning & Inventory Management, Store Operations, Digital Operations, and Product teams to ensure fulfillment products, processes, and business rules are functioning as intended and supporting expected business outcomes.

Maintain Tools, Resources & System Readiness

  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting tools, documentation, and self-service resources that enable partners to quickly identify and resolve eligibility and availability issues while supporting system maintenance and event readiness.

Identify & Activate Optimization Opportunities

  • Partner with Product teams to evaluate product performance, document business needs, and build business cases for enhancements that improve fulfillment capabilities, operational efficiency, and guest experience.

Support Store Operations Performance

  • Partner with Store Operations to investigate Inventory Not Found (INF) trends, identify root causes, and coordinate product or process improvements that drive operational performance.

Enable Enterprise Initiatives

  • Support merchandising engagement routines, seasonal events, promotions, and enterprise initiatives by ensuring fulfillment systems, processes, and eligibility capabilities are accurately configured and operationally ready.

About You

  • 4 Year Degree (or equivalent experience) with 3+ years’ work experience in Fulfillment, Digital, Planning & Inventory Management, Merchandising, Product or Item.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience managing projects and partnering across cross-functional teams to drive execution and resolve complex business challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues, identify root causes, and drive solutions to completion.
  • Knowledge of Fulfillment, Digital, Planning & Inventory Management, Merchandising, Store Operations, Product and Item Teams.
  • Data driven with excellent analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Access; SQL/HQL querying experience preferred.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
