▪ Develop, track, and maintain detailed project schedules; adjust priorities and milestones based on changing client needs, phased turnover requirements, commissioning activities, resource availability, jobsite conditions, and project requirements.
▪ Review contracts and coordinate revisions, changes, notices, RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, subcontractor scopes, vendor commitments, and project correspondence.
▪ Lead project pre-planning efforts, including turnover meetings, labor task code setup, manpower planning, safety planning, logistics, material planning, prefabrication strategy, site coordination, and integration with field operations.
▪ Coordinate procurement, material submittals, equipment needs, long-lead items, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, PDUs, RPPs, distribution equipment, controls, and other critical-path electrical infrastructure to support schedule, field productivity, and turnover milestones.
▪ Build, mentor, and develop high-performing project teams, including Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, coordinators, and support staff, while reinforcing Baker standards.
▪ Serve as a primary liaison with clients, general contractors, owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, commissioning agents, subcontractors, vendors, operations teams, and internal stakeholders.
▪ Regularly visit projects and coordinate with foremen, superintendents, and field leadership to assess progress, quality, productivity, safety, installation sequencing, coordination constraints, and client satisfaction.
▪ Proactively identify complex project challenges, risks, delays, productivity issues, and changing conditions; apply sound judgment, implement corrective measures, and escalate significant concerns as appropriate.
▪ Manage project closeout and turnover, including punch list completion, final change orders, record drawings, manuals, warranties, commissioning support, systems documentation, client turnover packages, lessons learned, and team debriefs.
▪ Evaluate construction methods, project execution approaches, prefabrication opportunities, resource plans, and sequencing strategies to improve technical quality, cost effectiveness, efficiency, quality, safety, predictability, and NOI.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
▪ 7+ years of electrical construction project management experience with an electrical contractor; 10+ years preferred, with demonstrated experience in data center, mission-critical, commercial, industrial, or large-scale technical environments.
