Senior Project Manager, Oracle Fusion ERP Implementation
Position Overview
Our is seeking two experienced Senior Project Managers to support the delivery of an Oracle Fusion ERP implementation. These individuals will operate as peer-level Project Managers and divide the project workload based on their respective strengths, the needs of the implementation, and the sequence in which they join the project.
This is a hands-on project delivery role, not a Program Manager, Program Director, or advisory position. The selected consultants will be accountable for managing assigned ERP project workstreams, creating and maintaining detailed project plans and governance artifacts, coordinating work across business and technology teams, and providing clear reporting to Senior and executive stakeholders.
Although the implementation is narrower than a full enterprise-wide ERP deployment, it requires the foundational structure, governance, planning, documentation, and cross-functional coordination expected of a complex ERP initiative. BECU is initially implementing a limited number of ERP components, with a strong emphasis on financial processes such as source-to-pay and general ledger-related integrations or dependencies.
The successful candidates must combine ERP implementation experience with strong execution, executive communication, adaptability, and a willingness to work directly within BECU’s established delivery model.
ERP Project Delivery
Lead assigned workstreams within the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation from planning through execution and implementation.
Create, maintain, and actively manage detailed project plans in Azure DevOps.
Establish and manage project milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
Translate overall implementation objectives into clear, executable work plans for business and technology teams.
Coordinate activities across functional, technical, business, vendor, and leadership stakeholders.
Maintain accountability across project teams and proactively address missed commitments or delivery obstacles.
Identify delivery risks early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues with appropriate context and recommendations.
Drive work forward between formal meetings rather than relying solely on status reporting or delegation.
Project Governance and Documentation
Produce and maintain the project artifacts required by BECU’s project delivery and governance processes.
Prepare project status reports, executive presentations, steering materials, and leadership updates.
Develop documentation that clearly communicates progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, and upcoming milestones.
Ensure that project information maintained in Azure DevOps is accurate and can be used to support reporting and executive-level presentations.
Coordinate the multiple layers of review, communication, and presentation required for a visible enterprise initiative.
Partner with project coordination and business analysis resources while retaining ownership of core Project Manager responsibilities.
Stakeholder and Executive Management
Build productive working relationships with Senior business leaders, technology leaders, functional teams, analysts, delivery teams, and external partners.
Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Provide transparent project reporting without minimizing risks or overstating progress.
Facilitate difficult conversations, resolve delivery conflicts, and create alignment across teams.
Demonstrate executive presence while remaining comfortable working directly with project teams on detailed delivery issues.
Accept direction and feedback constructively and adjust project plans or delivery methods as needed.
Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Program Manager, who will provide active leadership, coordination, and oversight across the initiative.
Agile and Team Delivery
Apply Agile delivery practices where appropriate while maintaining primary accountability for overall project management.
Participate directly in delivery meetings and help teams resolve blockers, clarify ownership, and regain momentum.
Use Azure DevOps to manage plans, document progress, track work, and support project reporting.
Partner effectively with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, business analysts, technical leads, and delivery teams.
Adapt project management practices to a hybrid environment that may include both traditional governance and Agile execution.
Ensure project management responsibilities are not inappropriately delegated to business analysts, coordinators, or delivery team members.
Direct Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation experience.
Financial services, banking, or credit union experience.
Experience supporting finance, accounting, procurement, source-to-pay, procure-to-pay, or general ledger processes.
Experience working in a regulated enterprise environment.
Background combining traditional project management with Agile delivery practices.
Experience working with Scrum teams without functioning exclusively as a Scrum Master.
Experience collaborating with system integrators, enterprise software vendors, or external implementation partners.
Familiarity with Clarity or Clarity PPM is helpful but not required. BECU can provide training and project coordination support for the tool.

This is a Senior Project Manager role.
The ERP effort is managed as a project within a broader portfolio of work, not as a consultant-led program.
The Enterprise Program Manager will actively coordinate, oversee, and provide direction to the Project Managers.
The two Project Managers will operate at the same level and must be able to collaborate as peers.
Work will be divided based on project needs and each Project Manager’s strengths.
The Project Managers are expected to personally produce and maintain core plans, artifacts, reporting, and presentations.
Candidates must be willing to move between executive-level communication and detailed project execution.
Success requires urgency, responsiveness, professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to “roll up one’s sleeves.”
This is not a role for someone seeking to reposition the engagement as a Program Manager or Program Director assignment.
Long-term opportunities may exist for high-performing consultants, but candidates should be focused first on successfully delivering the contracted project scope.
This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
