The Senior Digital Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering complex, large-scale technical digital implementation programs, including cloud-based solutions, API-driven integrations, and multi-system enterprise initiatives. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, providing strategic project leadership across the full delivery lifecycle while partnering closely with customers, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams.
The Senior Digital Project Manager is expected to mentor other project managers, proactively manage risk, influence decision-making without direct authority, and ensure delivery excellence for Entrust’s most critical customer-facing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Complex Digital and Technical Programs
Own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream digital implementation projects, including cloud platforms, API integrations, and enterprise software solutions.
Develop, execute, and continuously refine comprehensive Project Management Plans encompassing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, communications, procurement, and vendor management.
Translate business objectives into executable delivery strategies, technical milestones, and integrated project roadmaps.
Review, validate, and negotiate Scope of Work (SOW) with Sales and customers; proactively manage scope changes, commercial impacts, and formal change control.
Technical Delivery & Integration Leadership
Lead cross-functional technical teams, including Implementation, Engineering, Cloud, Security, SMEs, and third-party vendors.
Oversee delivery of projects involving REST APIs, system‑to‑system integrations, data exchanges, cloud‑hosted (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) environments, and customer implementation of Entrust SDK base solutions.
Partner with technical architects and engineers to understand solution architecture, dependencies, and integration risks.
Anticipate, identify, and mitigate technical, operational, and delivery risks; escalate issues with clear recommendations and options.
Ensure implementation, configuration, testing, and validation activities meet technical, security, and compliance requirements.
Financial, Schedule, and Risk Management
Manage complex project budgets, forecasts, invoicing milestones, and financial reporting.
Monitor project performance using quantitative and qualitative metrics; analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
Balance competing priorities across multiple high-impact projects while maintaining delivery commitments.
Stakeholder & Executive Communication
Serve as the senior point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, including executive-level and technically detailed discussions.
Provide clear, concise, and proactive status reporting to internal leadership and customer stakeholders, covering schedule, financials, risks, and dependencies.
Lead executive reviews, steering committee meetings, and customer governance forums.
Drive alignment across Sales, Product, Engineering, Implementation, and external partners to ensure customer satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
Lead project debriefs and lessons-learned sessions; apply insights to improve delivery standards, tools, and methodologies.
Mentor and support project managers by sharing best practices, delivery frameworks, and risk management strategies.
Contribute to the evolution of project management standards, templates, and governance within the organization.
Enhance Entrust’s reputation by identifying opportunities to add value, improve customer outcomes, and optimize delivery processes.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of progressive project management experience, including leadership of complex technical or IT-focused initiatives.
Proven experience managing enterprise-scale software, cloud, and system integration projects in a customer-facing environment.
Strong working knowledge of cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), APIs, integrations, and data exchange architectures.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
Advanced skills in risk management, change management, financial oversight, and executive communication.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
Must be authorized to lawfully work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification strongly preferred.
Experience delivering cloud migrations, cloud-native platforms, or API-enabled ecosystems.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Experience within digital identity, payments, security, or credential issuance industries.

Compensation Range:
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $104,773-$153,667 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. In addition to your pay, Entrust offers eligible colleagues and their dependents comprehensive health and well-being programs which include medical, vision, dental, a generous 401(k) matching contribution, life and disability insurance, mental health coaching, virtual fitness programs, paid personal time off plus 12 paid holidays, parental leave and education reimbursement.
