  • Identify key risks, assumptions, constraints, and mitigation strategies at the outset.
  • Lead internal and external project kick-off meetings to align all stakeholders.
  • Establish clear project objectives, success criteria, and communication protocols.

Planning & Execution

  • Develop and manage integrated project execution plans covering schedule, resources, procurement, cash flow, and cost baselines.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure full project readiness and alignment.
  • Preparation & submission of project specific technical submittals, method statements, and compliance documentation to ensure project execution standards are met.
  • Lead site execution of HVAC projects (chillers, VRV systems, retrofits, and turnkey solutions) while managing subcontractors and ensuring adherence to scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards and maintain proactive coordination with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent delays.

Monitoring & Control

  • Track progress against baseline schedules and key milestones.
  • Monitor cost performance, variations, and change orders.
  • Issue accurate and timely progress reports, dashboards, and forecasts.
  • Identify deviations early and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Project Financial Oversight

  • Own project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and margin protection.
  • Manage payments, variations, and claims while ensuring alignment with contractual and profitability targets.

Testing, Commissioning & Handover

  • Oversee testing and commissioning of HVAC systems, including chillers and VRV systems.
  • Ensure systems meet design intent, operational performance, and client requirements.
  • Lead final inspections, snag closure, and stakeholder approvals.
  • Ensure complete and accurate handover documentation (as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties).
  • Secure formal client acceptance and project closure.

Post-Implementation Review

  • Conduct structured project close-out reviews focusing on performance, risks, and financial outcomes.
  • Capture lessons learned and institutionalized best practices.
  • Support service teams during the defect liability period (DLP).
  • Strengthen client relationships to enable repeat business and long-term partnerships.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC project execution, with strong exposure to chillers and VRV systems.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering turnkey HVAC projects in KSA or GCC markets.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, particularly VRV technologies and central plant solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., PMI principles) and execution tools.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Proven financial acumen with experience in cost control, margin management, and contract administration.
  • Strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills to support site execution and resolve day-to-day project issues.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks, submittals, and site activities.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting progress, preparing documentation, and supporting meetings.
  • Good commercial awareness, with understanding of cost implications, material usage, and efficient resource utilization.
  • Commitment to Quality, Compliance, and HSE standards, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices on site.
