This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India You will be mainly accountable for:

Supporting automation projects across design, development, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Working on HMI & application development for process control systems
Assisting in migration and integration of third-party automation systems
Performing system testing and validation activities (FAT/SAT)
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in automation systems
Supporting commissioning activities at site

Qualifications for the role:
5 to 12 years of relevant experience in automation engineering
Basic Knowledge of Systems like Siemens PCS-7, S5, S7 Series S400 , S500, S300, SIMATIC WinCC. Wonderware Honeywell TDC 3000, EPKS, Intellution , Emerson RS3, Delta V, Provox Rockwell / Allen Bradly PLC-5, SL500, Control logix, Factory Talk, RSView32.
Experience in 800xA, freelance, AC 500, CHMI, Zenon SCADA and basic understanding of control panel / cabinet design - Power calculations, heat load calculations, and sizing
Experience with system imaging tools (Acronis, Norton Ghost)
Proficiency in Microsoft software and patch management
Familiarity with Firewall, routers, VLAN configuration, Antivirus configuration for automation systems and OS environments including Windows, Linux, UNIX
Virtual machine setup for industrial systems and basic knowledge of industrial networking components:
Managed switches (Moxa, Hirschmann, RuggedCom) and understanding of communication protocols:
Profibus, Modbus (TCP & Serial), OPC UA, IEC 61850, BACnet
BE / BTech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
