About the Role and Team

At Uber, leadership means driving progress through strategic direction and disciplined execution. As a Senior Program Manager, Tech, you will lead high-impact, organization-wide initiatives that bridge the gap between business objectives and operational reality. You will be responsible for solving complex, unscripted problems and scaling programs that support our global business operations and internal infrastructure.

This role requires a resourceful professional capable of leading through influence in a fast-paced environment. You will serve as a primary point of contact for regional and global leadership, ensuring that programs are robust, standardized, and scalable. If you excel at providing clarity in ambiguous situations and are committed to raising the bar for execution, this is where you will make your mark.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of complex programs, from strategic scoping and roadmap definition to global rollout and optimization.
  • Drive program milestones, remove blockers, and manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure seamless delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Navigate high-ambiguity environments by breaking down complex organizational challenges into actionable workstreams and data-driven goals.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Business leadership to align priorities and ensure organizational readiness for global initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and global system integrators, ensuring adherence to performance SLAs, global standards, and security compliance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for regional and global leadership, communicating program health, risks, and strategic updates to audiences ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership.
  • Identify process gaps and implement standardized frameworks, playbooks, and best practices to improve organizational scalability and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in program management within a high-growth technology or large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Proven track record of managing the full lifecycle of large-scale programs, including budget management, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify execution weaknesses and build structured, scalable approaches to resolve organizational disconnects.
  • Ability to propose and implement end-to-end solutions that enhance performance across multiple processes and global sites.
  • Experience presenting strategic topics to senior leadership and creating scalable documentation (e.g., project plans, requirement documents, or reporting).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Operations, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale operations, IT infrastructure deployment, or enterprise-wide enablement initiatives.
  • History of scaling organizations through process automation, recruiting support, and the implementation of industry best practices.
  • Professional certifications in program management (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priority and tight deadlines.
  • Experience aligning cross-functional teams toward shared goals without direct formal authority.

About Uber

We are Uber. The go-getters. The kind of people who are relentless about our mission to help people go anywhere and get anything and earn their way. Movement is what we power. It’s our lifeblood. It runs through our veins. It’s what gets us out of bed each morning. It pushes us to constantly reimagine how we can move better. For you. For all the places you want to go. For all the things you want to get. For all the ways you want to earn. Across the entire world. In real time. At the incredible speed of now.

The idea for Uber was born on a snowy night in Paris in 2008, and ever since then our DNA of reimagination and reinvention carries on. We’ve grown into a global platform powering flexible earnings and the movement of people and things in ever expanding ways. We’ve gone from connecting rides on 4 wheels to 2 wheels to 18-wheel freight deliveries. From takeout meals to daily essentials to prescription drugs to just about anything you need at any time and earning your way. From drivers with background checks to real-time verification, safety is a top priority every single day. At Uber, the pursuit of reimagination is never finished, never stops, and is always just beginning.
