The Social Media Marketing Senior Programs Manager develops and executes the company’s social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. This individual contributor role manages social media calendars, creates compelling content, and leverages analytics to optimize performance across platforms. Responsibilities include planning campaigns, fostering community interaction, and ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives. The role requires expertise in social media trends, content development, and performance measurement to deliver impactful, data-driven results that strengthen the brand’s digital presence.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Develop and execute social media strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
Manage social media calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting across platforms.
Create and curate compelling content (copy, graphics, video) optimized for each channel and audience.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics, leveraging insights to refine strategies and improve ROI.
Drive community engagement by responding to comments, fostering conversations, and building relationships with followers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, PR, creative) to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign integration.
Stay current on social media trends, tools, and emerging platforms, applying best practices to keep the brand competitive.
Manage paid social campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and performance tracking.
Prepare reports and dashboards summarizing KPIs, engagement, and campaign effectiveness for stakeholders.
Ensure brand consistency across all social media communications and maintain adherence to compliance guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience required.
Previous financial industry and customer service experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree required and three to five years of experience in social media marketing
Hands on experience managing social media platforms and paid social campaigns
Ability to work with little supervision and ability to make sound decision in accordance to the brand standards and department guidelines.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be proficient in technology applications including the Credit Union’s operating system and specialized software required for performance of position.
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social), analytics platforms, and basic HTML/CSS for troubleshooting
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.
