Directs and manages Process Excellence Program Managers in the design, development and execution of client based programs. Provides leadership and direction in building client engagement, program development, strategic decision‐making, project scope and deliverables.

What you will do

  • Collaborates with and provides recommendations to the Director related to department policies, procedures, business development opportunities, strategic planning and resource planning.
  • Complete project based evaluations for Program Managers and Analysts.
  • Directs and manages Process Excellence Program Managers in the design, development and execution of client based programs. Provides leadership and direction in building client engagement, program development, strategic decision‐making, project scope and deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recognize and use synergies from other projects to design creative solutions for technological and non‐technological problems as well as identify future projects.
  • Lead Key Department activities including enhanced content development for department tools and methodologies, and synthesize new content gathered from external resources and conferences.
  • Manage program design and structure for department’s key endeavors and projects within assigned leadership division, develop strategic input for the Director regarding business objectives of clients for both current and future projects.
  • Partner with Operations Manager to identify and develop the leadership needs and internal capacity of the department, and facilitate strategic changes in project scope or assignment across the team.
  • Provide program leadership for large strategic and cross‐functional improvement programs for executive stakeholders, departments, and project team members by defining strategic intent of programs and overseeing deliverable development to ensure project goals are met.
  • Train, coach, and mentor department staff as well as other hospital employees as needed on Process Improvement/Project Management/Change Management principles and relevant tools.
  • Works with various departments and physician groups, develops relationships with key stakeholders, and understands their departmental workflows.


Education Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a work‐related discipline/field from an accredited college or university


Experience Qualifications

  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
  • Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and in situations requiring instructing, persuading, negotiating, conflict resolution, consulting and advising, as well as flawless written communication
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both within and outside the organization and gain their cooperation
  • Ability to plan, organize, motivate, mentor, direct and evaluate the work of others
  • Ability to provide leadership and influence others
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and/or negotiate with others to achieve positive results; establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
  • Knowledge of inpatient and clinic operations and how it relates to labor productivity
  • Knowledge of Lean, JIT, Six Sigma and Flow Manufacturing techniques
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Project and Outlook
  • Knowledge of principles of business and management strategic planning, leadership development, and education techniques

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $70.52 - $93.43 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
