Identifies opportunities for global business expansion in support of the customer offshore design and manufacturing. Develops and maintains the business relationship by providing solutions for the company and its defined supplier(s) in a product line, to achieve the identified strategy and business financial objectives. Planning and managing the migration of sales to meet product delivery, customer service, and revenue goals.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provides value added solutions for the company and its defined supplier(s) growth plans and business.

  • Responsible for planning and managing programs/projects to meet product delivery, customer service and revenue goals.

  • Assist with coordinating sales and support team efforts in assigned accounts/territories/regions.

  • Reviews customer requirements, identifies tasks, assigns and coordinates resources and creates/tracks project schedules.

  • Ability to rapidly make prudent business decisions based on data analytics and craft sales and supply chain strategies.

  • Collaborating between global sales teams, support teams, internal and external stakeholders globally.

  • Responsible for the linkage between design and supply chains by connecting the design and fulfillment region resources and ensuring that design region resources are compensated based on pre-agreed norms.

  • Tracks outbound manufacturing migrations for the company's customers.

  • Gathering and documenting changes in such things as line card pricing, margins and revenue analysis.

  • Updates and maintains critical business information in a databases which serve as the migration information system.

  • Creates custom migration strategies for design region customers and executes based on set strategies.

  • Ensures inter-regional margin splits are reported by fulfillment region so that the company's design and fulfillment regions share return-on-investment.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines. Considered a subject matter expert within the organization and contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.

  • Develops solutions to highly complex and uniquely challenging situations. Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and variables. Expected to make improvements to policies and procedures.

  • Works independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion. May act as informal team lead and/or coach less experienced team members.

  • Serves as consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives related to policies, plans and long-range objectives.

  • Actions may impact the organization and its reputation. Effects of erroneous decisions may be long-lasting, influence the future course of the organization and/or require the expenditure of extensive additional resources.


Work Experience:

  • Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.


Education and Certification(s):

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

  • Program & Operational Execution

  • Plan and manage programs/projects to meet product delivery, customer service, and revenue goals

  • Lead program governance including operational cadence (customer calls, performance reviews, QBR inputs)

  • Review customer requirements, identify tasks, assign and coordinate resources, and manage schedules

  • Govern NPI ramps to ensure BTS/BTO readiness at launch

  • Coordinate cross‑functional execution across supply chain, engineering, quality, and manufacturing partners.

  • Ownership of program KPIs:

  • Inventory (BTS days of supply / turns)

  • PO-to-Ship performance (BTO SLA adherence)

  • Delivery performance

  • Cost-to-serve and margin performance at the program level

  • BTS (Build-to-Stock) Ownership

  • Maintain ~2 months of finished goods inventory aligned to SKU strategy

  • Govern forecast accuracy, replenishment triggers, and inventory health

  • Escalate risks related to excess, obsolescence, or demand variability

  • BTO (Build-to-Order) Ownership

  • Own PO-to-Ship performance (≤10 days) leveraging BTS inventory pools

  • Coordinate allocation priorities, backlog management, and exception handling

  • Lead recovery actions to mitigate/prevent service level risks

  • Escalation & Risk Management

  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks

  • Develop mitigation and recovery strategies

  • Role Boundaries

  • Do not own factory staffing, production scheduling, or warehouse operations

  • Do not redefine BTS/BTO structures without approval

  • Do not own commercial contract structure changes
