Job Description

About the Role

The Global Digital Experience team at Uber is responsible for building and scaling enterprise-grade platforms & products that power operations globally. As a Senior Product Operations Manager supporting Platform Integrity, you will own the Product Operations portfolio for a critical operational domain spanning Safety, Risk, Payments, Identity and Compliance for Uber’s Community Operations team.

Platform Integrity sits at the center of trust, resilience, and operational excellence across Uber. This role will partner deeply with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and regional Operations teams to intake product needs, translate them into clear problem statements, prioritize them alongside product leaders, and drive disciplined execution from discovery through global rollout and post-launch optimization.

A major focus of this role will be using GenAI, machine learning models, and automation to improve how Platform Integrity products are built, deployed, and scaled. You will help identify where model-enabled workflows can reduce manual effort, improve decision quality, strengthen risk detection, enhance compliance readiness, and create more consistent experiences for internal teams and external users.

This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role for a strategic operator who can bring structure to ambiguous problem spaces, connect operational pain points to product and platform priorities, and ensure that launches are thoughtful, measurable, globally scalable, and durable across complex regulatory and business contexts.

Success in this role requires strong strategic judgment, systems thinking, analytical depth, executive communication, and the ability to influence without authority across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Policy, and regional stakeholder groups.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Own the strategic Product Operations portfolio for Platform Integrity, spanning Safety, Risk, Payments, Compliance, and related integrity workflows across Global Community Operations.
  • Build and manage the intake and triage mechanism for Platform Integrity product requests, ensuring requests are clearly defined, supported by data, tied to business outcomes, and evaluated against product strategy, operational urgency, risk exposure, compliance obligations, and customer impact.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to prioritize initiatives, sequence roadmap investments, clarify trade-offs, and align stakeholders on what should be built, why it matters, and how success will be measured.
  • Translate operational insights, regional feedback, model performance signals, support trends, policy changes, compliance requirements, and scalability constraints into clear product requirements, decision frameworks, and executive-ready narratives.
  • Co-shape the Platform Integrity AI and models roadmap by identifying, validating, and scaling opportunities for GenAI, machine learning, automation, and decision-intelligence capabilities across Safety, Risk, Payments, Identity and Compliance operations.
  • Partner with Data Science and Product teams to evaluate AI/model use cases, including workflow fit, human-in-the-loop design, escalation paths, quality controls, fairness considerations, operational risk, measurement plans, and post-launch monitoring needs.
  • Lead structured go-to-market and rollout planning for new Platform Integrity products and capabilities, including readiness planning, stakeholder engagement, documentation, training, change management, launch communications, adoption tracking, and operational support models.
  • Design and institutionalize scalable operating models, governance mechanisms, feedback loops, and prioritization rituals that improve how Platform Integrity product work is discovered, built, launched, and iterated.
  • Define and own performance measurement frameworks for launches and ongoing platform health, including adoption, accuracy, efficiency, quality, risk reduction, compliance readiness, defect reduction, and business impact metrics.
  • Surface post-launch insights, systemic friction points, model gaps, operational defects, and regional adoption barriers to influence roadmap evolution and continuous product improvement.
  • Serve as the primary Product Operations interface for senior Platform Integrity and Product stakeholders, driving alignment on business priorities, product trade-offs, resourcing decisions, launch risks, and success metrics.
  • Advise Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams on global feasibility, long-term maintainability, operational durability, regulatory complexity, and supportability of proposed solutions.
  • Elevate Product Operations standards across the organization by codifying best practices, improving product intake quality, strengthening launch discipline, and creating durable mechanisms that scale beyond individual programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement.
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Strategy, Operations, Strategy & Operations, Management Consulting, Program Management, or a similarly analytical and cross-functional role.
  • Demonstrated experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder portfolios with significant business impact in a scaled product, platform, marketplace, risk, compliance, support, or enterprise environment.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Operations teams to move products from problem discovery through launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration.
  • Strong analytical fluency, with the ability to independently interrogate data, define measurable success metrics, identify trends, and connect product performance to operational and business outcomes.
  • Experience leading large-scale, global or multi-region product launches, operational transformations, or change management efforts.
  • Proven ability to design scalable operating models, governance frameworks, prioritization mechanisms, and feedback loops that create durable operating discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving executive-level alignment in ambiguous, highly matrixed environments.
  • Strong judgment in operational environments involving safety, risk, payments, compliance, trust, regulatory complexity, or high-volume decisioning workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI, GenAI, machine learning models, automation, decision engines, or model-enabled workflows in scaled operational or platform environments.
  • Familiarity with products or operations related to Safety, Risk, Payments, Compliance, Trust & Safety, Fraud, Identity, Policy, Support Operations, or regulated workflows.
  • Experience evaluating AI/model use cases, including workflow design, operational controls, model quality measurement, human review, escalation paths, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to articulate how product and platform decisions impact risk reduction, productivity, quality, compliance readiness, adoption, cost efficiency, and long-term scale.
  • Experience balancing innovation with operational rigor, regulatory requirements, risk controls, and global scalability constraints.
  • SQL proficiency or demonstrated ability to independently analyze structured datasets and translate findings into product and operational decisions.
  • Experience creating executive narratives, roadmap decision documents, launch reviews, business cases, or product performance readouts.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required.

What Success Looks Like

  • Platform Integrity product requests are captured through a clear, trusted intake process and converted into high-quality problem statements with measurable outcomes.
  • Product and Operations teams have a shared prioritization model that balances customer impact, operational pain, risk exposure, compliance needs, and strategic platform value.
  • AI/model-enabled initiatives are selected thoughtfully, launched responsibly, and measured against clear improvements in quality, efficiency, risk reduction, and decision intelligence.
  • Global rollouts are predictable, well-governed, and supported by strong readiness, adoption, training, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Post-launch insights consistently influence roadmap decisions, reduce recurring operational friction, and improve the durability of Platform Integrity products.
