Job Description

Join Amazon Pharmacy's Fulfillment Product Tech team and shape the systems that determine how medications are dispensed, verified, and shipped to patients. You will execute the product roadmap to drive performance for the 1P Warehouse Management System (WMS) — the unified platform being built on AFT (Amazon Fulfillment Technologies) primitives to orchestrate pharmacy fulfillment within the four walls.
Pharmacy fulfillment is unlike retail: workflows span controlled substance compliance (DEA chain-of-custody), cold chain handling, pharmacist verification gates, and dynamic re-routing for problem states — all under HIPAA constraints. Every system you define and measure operates within these regulatory and operational realities, across small-format sites, regional fulfillment centers, and kiosks.
We are looking for a dynamic, analytically rigorous Senior Product Manager – Tech to own the product execution on how Amazon Pharmacy executes fill, verify, and pack — the core dispensing workflow that turns a prescription into a shipment. You will define the problems, shape the solutions, and drive outcomes across these domains — working directly with engineers building workcell execution services, operator tooling, and the hardware abstraction layers that connect our software to pharmacy automation

Key job responsibilities
1. Define and execute the roadmap for how prescriptions are dispensed, pharmacist-verified, and assembled into shipments across manual and automated workcells at all site formats (small-format, regional, kiosks).
2. Define and track metrics across the fill-verify-pack pipeline; identify bottlenecks, set targets, and partner with engineering to deliver measurable improvements in speed, accuracy, and cost-per-shipment.
3. Work with Hardware and Software Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Clinical Excellence, Finance, and In-Stock partners to provide solutions and drive improvements
4. Influence without authority across multiple teams and organizations to drive outcomes in a matrixed environment
4.
