About the Role

The Data Platform organization in Disney Entertainment ESPN Product & Technology is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and evolve our centralized source of truth for identity, device, and enterprise-wide customer data integration. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless cross-platform user experiences, accurate device and access intelligence, and compliant data activation for analytics, personalization, and security.

As a key leader within the Data team, you will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap. Your work will empower internal teams by managing a unified view of customers across multiple diverse business units – this will power marketing activation, analytics, and more.

This role requires a strategic thinker with deep data expertise, capable of translating ambiguous business needs into actionable product roadmaps while balancing scalability, performance, and privacy compliance. You will also lead the product strategy for modernizing legacy customer data pipelines. This includes migrating legacy systems to modern data-sharing architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and define the vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Architecture, Privacy, Governance, and Business Teams to build scalable, compliant, and highly available data products
• Manage relationships and technical integrations with third-party identity matching and data enrichment vendors to enhance customer demographic profiles.
• Define and own the long-term strategy and repeatable processes for onboarding new business units' customer data into the centralized data platform for enrichment and activation.
• Oversee the management, integration, and planning of data processes with associated upstream and downstream partner teams, ensuring seamless data flow to support timely and informed decision-making
• Help enable data activation by ensuring data is easily accessible for analytics, machine learning, data science, marketing, and other data use cases
• Oversee stakeholder engagement, prioritizing intake requests, defining requirements, and ensuring timely, compliant data delivery
• Develop and maintain clear product documentation, including detailed product briefs, roadmaps, and success metrics
• Drive awareness and engagement by delivering timely communications and targeted presentations to highlight feature launches and their business impact.
• Identify and mitigate risks, addressing key blockers and dependencies across teams

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required. An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Economics or related discipline is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in data product management, platform development, data engineering, or related fields
• Demonstrated experience working with third-party identity resolution and data enrichment vendors (e.g., Acxiom, Transunion, Experian) to support customer data unification
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional engineering teams, complex enterprise data migrations, and vendor relationships
• Familiarity with identity resolution, authentication flows, device metadata management, and third-party data enrichment pipelines
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements and deliver scalable, high-impact data solutions
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure success through data-driven insights
• Proficiency with AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate development, documentation, and data analysis tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred
• Shown experience in video streaming, OTT, and subscription based services
• Experience working with data ingestion APIs, warehouse infrastructure, and data sharing technologies
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques for identity resolution, data enrichment, or customer segmentation
• Demonstrated experience leading product strategy for household-level identity resolution, linking related individuals, devices, and accounts into unified household groupings to power suppression, attribution, and personalization use cases across business units
• Familiarity with big data storage, processing technologies, and modeling techniques (Druid, Kafka, Snowflake, Redshift, star schema, OLAP, etc.)

#TECHATDISNEY

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA, Glendale, CA and Bristol, CT is $141,900 to $190,300 per year and in New York, NY is $148,700 to $199,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
