The pay range is $115,000.00 - $206,000.00

A role in Finance Capabilities means partnering with Finance, Technology, and analytics leaders to co-create solutions that maximizes business value and enables key strategies that are critical to the enterprise and for the experiences we create for our guests. Truly an owner and expert of your data solutions and underlying processes, you will set the vision, align on the roadmap and mobilize your team and partner teams to deliver needed outcomes. Given most strategies have a Finance impact, you will also serve as a trusted resource to guide other enterprise partners in their solutions to ensure the success and integrity of end-to-end deliverables.
Product Teams at Target are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology, discovery and design work.
As a Senior Product Manager, Finance you will own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for a portfolio of Finance data products supporting Finance Modernization. Your portfolio will include the Modern P&L, foundational Finance datasets, and data products needed to enable modern operational reporting and analytics. You will deeply understand Finance stakeholder needs and business processes, translating them into clear product outcomes and making prioritization and trade-off decisions based on business value, dependencies, and available capacity.
A significant focus of this role will be leading product discovery and definition for the Modern P&L, a new capability intended to provide a fully burdened view of profitability at the category and channel level through Operating Income. You will partner across Finance to understand how the business evaluates performance, define the decisions and use cases the product must support, identify required data and capabilities, and establish a sequenced roadmap that delivers value iteratively.
You will also own and influence Finance data products that form the foundation for broader Finance Modernization. This includes partnering with Finance application Product Managers and engineers to define Bronze, Silver, and consumption data needs from transactional applications such as MatchIQ, Partem, and Plutus, as well as data required by downstream Finance reporting and analytics. You will ensure these needs are approached as durable, reusable data products, rather than one-time data deliveries designed around a single report or project.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product. You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will lead a product and work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.
You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.
You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles, and partner with product teams across the organization to help them achieve their goals while pursuing and completing yours.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
