Job Description

With hundreds of millions of users and tens of thousands of business customers across every industry and region, M365 is a key driver of Microsoft’s leadership in cloud services and the shift toward AI-powered productivity. The M365 core platform is fundamental to the success of Office 365, serving as the foundation for every productivity experience and intelligent service in the Microsoft Cloud. It enables new applications and services from both Microsoft and third parties, including Copilot experiences that are already significantly enhancing customer productivity worldwide. Given its scale and critical importance, M365 is a prime target for highly sophisticated and well-resourced threat actors. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager, ideally with a background in security or identity, to lead key security initiatives for the platform and its partners across Microsoft.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute on a strategy to continuously improve security across the M365 app ecosystem.
  • Communicate technical gaps and new security feature requirements using clear written and verbal communication.
  • Manage key relationships with service teams across M365 to drive down risk.
  • Provide regular exec level updates and visibility into quantifiable security risk reduction.
  • Ideate and work with engineering teams to drive new ways to scale app ecosystem security efforts through proactive protections, automation, etc.



Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal contexts.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
