Base Pay Range: $120,550 – $174,563

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for leading product management activities to ensure the successful growth, impact, and operational efficiency of the product portfolio. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The Senior Product Manager owns a portfolio of Lighting & Display products and is accountable for sustained, profitable growth across the full product lifecycle. This role leads daily operational execution, lifecycle optimization, and multi-year roadmap strategy while serving as the cross-functional business leader for assigned products.

This position reports to the Vice President – Lighting and Display Technologies

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Business ownership and financial performance
    • Act as a mini-CEO for a set of product families; manage margins and revenue
    • Build clear business cases for product initiatives
    • Partner with Operations to achieve delivery and margin metrics
  • Product Lifecycle Management
    • Lead rationalization, obsolescence, and portfolio modernization efforts
  • Product Roadmap and Development
    • Maintain a multiyear roadmap aligned to market trends and growth priorities
    • Deliver synthesized customer feedback; translate into product requirements
    • Partner with Engineering to prioritize and drive developments
  • Sales and Channel Enablement
    • Equip the Sales team with positioning, value messaging, and competitive tools
    • Support major customer opportunities and partnerships
    • Partner with Marketing on commercialization strategies and execution
  • Market Insight
    • Be an expert on market opportunities and competitive conditions
    • Visit customers; support strategic account reviews and opportunities

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related technical field
  • Demonstrated ownership of a product line with measurable revenue and margin accountability
  • Strong financial acumen (pricing, ROI modeling, margin analysis, etc.)
  • Excitement about manufacturing, automation, and Banner’s Lighting products
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time

Preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, manufacturing operations, or engineering
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and process management abilities 
  • Experience supporting global sales teams and channel partners
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining a focus on execution
  • Experience with industrial automation, lighting, sensor, or display products

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role may lead project teams or coordinate efforts across departments but does not have direct supervisory responsibility over other employees.
