This position involves being a part of Product Management team that manages the technical and sustaining aspects of a product lifecycle in the area of Distribution Switching and Distribution Automation for the electric utility market.
The individual in this position should be able to lead and support various engineering programs - New Product Introduction, Sustaining Engineering, Value Engineering, Product troubleshooting, Product enhancements for multiple Distribution Switching products like Reclosers (Single-Phase and Three-Phase), Sectionalizers, Capacitor Banks, Padmount Switchgear, Sensors etc. The individual in this position must be able to participate and contribute and in technical conversations about entire product across various disciplines – Firmware, Hardware, Mechanical Engineering, GUI development, Type Testing, Functional Testing etc. Additionally, the individual must be able to successfully work with various cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing team, Product Management team, Field Application Engineering team etc.
This position is for an engineer who is passionate, proficient and the one who will enjoy working on all aspects of launching new products. The individual must be able to work with a sense of urgency to deliver top-tier quality solutions to end-users.
