The Filter Product Engineer (PE) is responsible for engineering support (Wafers, Package, Test, Characterization, & Qualifications) of BAW and SAW Filter products as they advance from development to production. The PE will work with design, test engineering, technology, and reliability engineering to analyze and resolve quality issues, as they relate to the sample, pre-production and full production release of a product.

Responsibilities of this position include focus on quality during production release of new and derivative products by ensuring all manufacturing and qualification requirements are in place before release. Additionally, production yield analysis, product characterization, design and conducting experiments to improve quality, cost and performance are activities that will also be part of this role.

• Major focus to ensure product quality while optimizing yield and cost during NPI
• Liaison with Development teams, Program Managers and Operations personnel (test engineering, lab services, planning and production sustaining engineering)
• Ensure all aspects of the production process are qualified to enable manufacturing release
• Create or approve the release of information, specifications, instructions and other quality assurance documents of products
• Determine limit guard bands between final test and EQC based on product characterization

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Science with min 5 years of experience.
