Connector Design Engineer is responsible for all phases of product development (Mini coax, twist pair type), from concept topre-production, including the multi-disciplinary actions necessary to meet customers’ requirements.

What You Will Do

1. Together with Engineering team, perform all related Engineering work such as design concept proposal, technical solutions to meet customer`s requirements in terms of technical performance, schedule, quality, and cost.

与工程团队协作，开展相关工程工作，包括设计概念方案、技术解决方案，确保在技术性能、进度、质量和成本方面满足客户要求。

2. Liaise with other operational functions in Molex (manufacturing plants, supply chain, quality) to make sure proposed design can go seamlessly in production.

与Molex其他运营职能部门（制造工厂、供应链、质量）沟通，确保所提设计能够顺利进入生产。

3. Perform all related Engineering work on RFQ, such as analyzing customer requirements and communicate them with Molex global development team.

负责产品概念报价评估相关工程工作，如分析客户需求并与Molex全球开发团队沟通。

4. Communicate with Molex laboratory on product validation.

与实验室沟通，推进产品验证。

5. Maintain relationships with Engineering organizations of our customers, suppliers

维护与客户及供应商工程相关组织的良好关系

6. Assist with any quality issues on current production parts including our response to customer concerns/complaints on parts performance.

协助处理现有量产零件的质量问题，包括应对客户对零件性能的关注或投诉

7. Handle other Engineering activities that are assigned by Engineering Management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor’s in mechanical / Electrical / Industrial engineering.

本科及以上学历，机械、电气或工业工程相关专业。

3 Years+ Experience in Automotive Crimping Terminal Design and development (especially with a foreign company).

3年以上汽车压接端子设计与开发经验（有外资企业经验尤佳）。

Good communication skills internally within Inner Group and externally towards Customers and suppliers.

具备良好的沟通能力，能够在内部及与客户、供应商之间高效协作

Experience in design and development process of automotive parts from concept to production.

熟悉汽车零部件从概念到量产的设计与开发流程

Proven experience to create all required documentations (FTA, DFMEA, DR, DV/PV …etc.)

具备编制相关技术文件的经验（如FTA、DFMEA、DR、DV/PV等）。

Experience in 3D CAD software and 2D drawings.

熟练使用3D CAD软件及2D工程图（NX/PROE/SOLIDWORKS/AUTOCAD）

English：Fluent (ability to read, write, and lead technical discussions)

具备良好的英语读写及口语沟通能力，能够与全球团队及客户进行技术交流
