Responsibilities

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who takes ownership of the end-to-end experience within their squad, combining product thinking, data analysis, and craft to deliver solutions that work for users and drive business results.

What you'll do

• Partner with PMs and engineers to define product strategy and shape experiences grounded in user needs and business goals;
• Identify improvement opportunities proactively, formulating hypotheses and designing data-driven experiments to validate them;
• Translate data-research findings and analytics into tangible product decisions;
• Use AI tools actively to accelerate concept generation, iterate faster, and improve the quality of UX writing and design decisions;
• Contribute to the Design System, maintaining and expanding it as the product evolves;
• Collaborate across the UX team, including writers, frontend engineers, and DesignOps;
• Raise the bar for design quality, with solid command of UI, usability, and interaction patterns;
• Document your process and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Product Design, ideally within the Brazilian financial ecosystem;

• Strong grasp of the end-to-end design process, with emphasis on fast prototyping and experimentation;
• Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities, create experiments, and define success metrics collaboratively;
• Fluency with AI tools as part of the daily design workflow, not as a novelty but as a productivity and quality multiplier;
• Clear communication with cross-functional teams, especially engineering;
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices and multi-device UX;
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, interdisciplinary environments;
• Ability to present and defend design decisions to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders;
• Owner mentality: business-oriented, data-driven, and accountable for results.

Industry-Specific Knowledge

It is desirable to have practical familiarity with one or more core financial domains such as lending, payments, credit cards, open finance, fraud prevention, merchant acquiring, or investment services, along with an understanding of their fundamental workflows and business drivers. Experience in how these domains intersect to influence revenue, risk management, and customer satisfaction is highly valued.

Ideally, candidates will have applied this knowledge to deliver solutions such as loan-origination engines with real-time decisioning; scalable payment-processing platforms integrated with core banking systems and third-party gateways; secure open-finance interfaces compliant with industry regulations; automated fraud-detection pipelines leveraging behavioral analytics; or financial reporting and reconciliation engines for regulatory compliance. The ability to translate complex compliance mandates (e.g., KYC/AML, PCI-DSS, GDPR) into resilient, high-performance systems without compromising user experience is considered a strong asset.
