Our award-winning client is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to join their team. Join our team in Topeka, KS as a Senior Process Engineer and play a key role in driving safety, quality, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Continuously improve safety, reduce defects, and build a zero-loss culture.
Lead the Commissioning, Qualification & Verification process for new projects, ensuring a smooth transition to operations.
Empower your team by fostering problem-solving skills and creating a high-performance work environment.
Gain in-depth knowledge of your designated line/area and provide technical expertise to your team.
Lead the implementation of our CI methodologies and coach your team to root cause analysis and loss elimination.
Ensure accurate data collection in our Proficy software to drive informed decision-making.
Align your initiatives with the department master plan and the plant's long-term vision.
Help us stay ahead of the curve by identifying and implementing new technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
2+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.
Proven ability to learn technical processes and systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with experience using formal methodologies.
Food manufacturing experience (a plus).
Project management skills (a plus).
