Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee production scheduling
• Evaluate and establish process parameters
• Identify and eliminate sources of failure and to perfect functionality of products
• Define process problems that lead to throughput or quality issues, evaluate cause of problem, implement solutions to stabilize processes, increase production output, reduce production cycle and enhance cost improvement
• Investigate and implement solutions on process or material related problems
• Develop and maintain proper job methods, work instructions, drawings, bill of material etc. for products
• Execute productivity programmes such as process automation, tooling and fixture fabrication or improvement etc.
• Conduct training on equipment operation and maintenance
• Ensure manufacturing objectives are met and initiate continuous improvement activi ties on product quality, yields and technologies

Position Qualifications and Experience:

• Possess at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with chemical handling
• Experience in electroplating sector and exposure to Silver Spot plating will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of statistical methods, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 practices is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications and able to interpret AutoCAD engineering drawing
• Systematic, self-initiative and able to work independently
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose and trouble-shoot problems
