Opto-Electrical Componentspackaging process development and optimization
What You Will Do
1.
Based on the product design requirement from PDM or PDE, define new process spec and document them.
2.
Working with mechanical engineer to develop the tooling, fixture based on new project.
3.
If needed, develop new process for prototype engineer samples building.
4.
Working with ME to develop the new process on automation equipment for volume production.
5.
Lead the process design validation and improvement in Alpha to Beta phase.
6.
Working out process engineering spec documents to guidance ME for WOI writing.
7.
Continuously lead process manufacturability and efficiency improvement, research and develop new platform if needed.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor' degree or above in Physics, Optics, Mechanical, Automation or related.
PREFERRED:
Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation degrees are preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
2+ years process developmentor optical coupling experience.
PREFERRED:
Process development experience of optical products, especially Lens & Fiber array alignment experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
PREFERRED:
•Basic knowledge of optical theory.
•Knowledge of lens coupling and fiber coupling principles.
•Equipment maintenance and technical innovation.
•Familiarity with optical components manufacturing processes and NPI.
•Good knowledge of optical, mechanical and electronic material properties.
