Job Description

The Private Banking Relationship Officer is primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing high net worth members. This position is accountable for deposit, loan, and revenue growth as well as referral business to other areas of the Credit Union. The position requires the management of complex financial solutions and transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage banking relationships with high-net-worth members while delivering a high value member experience.
  • Proactively investigate opportunities to expand Private Client market share by working with prospects and existing members. Work closely with Credit Union partners in the business area and other internal sources.
  • Develop, generate and follow-up on new member leads through various channels, including self-sourced prospects, existing members, and referrals from other departments.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with members to determine additional products and services to meet their needs.
  • Responsible for increasing deposit relationships for high-net-worth members.
  • Responsible for sales, recommended loan structuring and high-level credit analysis for all loan requests.
  • Cultivates strong community relations to develop a pipeline of quality prospects and referral sources.
  • Assist the development and growth of the department while building relationships with both members and executive management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 5-9 years of' work experience in Private Client banking or investment management. Ability to work under pressure and in an organized manner. Excellent communication and people skills.

Performance Standard:

Must take pride in department by processing loans in a timely and efficient manner with a high attention to detail. Must be professional and courteous in manner, with a focus on attendance, quality and quantity of work performed. Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.).
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
  • Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Reach keyboards.
  • Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.).

Salary Range for this position is $105,857.51 to $158,786.27 USD
