Job Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Director of Supply Chain Planning to lead supply planning operations supporting OCI hardware infrastructure, manufacturing, and global data center deployment initiatives. This leader will drive end-to-end supply planning strategy, balancing supply and demand across a rapidly scaling cloud infrastructure business while mitigating risk, optimizing inventory, and enabling deployment priorities worldwide.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in supply chain planning, demand and supply balancing, manufacturing operations, inventory optimization, and Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning solutions. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership across Demand Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Line Management, Commodity Planning, Procurement, and Data Center Operations teams.

Supply Planning & Execution

  • Partner with Demand Planning teams to align supply plans with forecasted demand and business priorities.

  • Identify and proactively manage supply gaps and constraints across products, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.

  • Drive allocation decisions between products and contract manufacturers when shared components are constrained.

  • Develop and execute demand shaping strategies to optimize supply utilization and customer fulfillment.

  • Collaborate with Data Center deployment teams to understand global site deployment priorities and align supply readiness accordingly.

  • Lead safety stock strategy development in partnership with Demand Planning to ensure optimal inventory positioning and service levels.

  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory exposure.

  • Drive mitigation plans for excess and obsolete inventory in collaboration with Demand Planning and Engineering teams.

Risk Mitigation & Supply Continuity

  • Lead supply continuity and risk mitigation strategies including second sourcing initiatives and supplier diversification.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Commodity Planning, and Product Line Management to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

  • Monitor component availability, supplier capacity, and manufacturing risks to proactively address constraints.

  • Develop scalable contingency plans supporting OCI’s rapidly growing infrastructure footprint.

Oracle Cloud SCM & Planning Systems Leadership

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning (SCP) capabilities including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of planning systems, workflows, and business processes.

  • Support configuration, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle Cloud SCM planning modules.

  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and enhanced planning visibility.

  • Oversee supply chain KPI development, reporting, and operational analytics including service levels, inventory health, productivity, forecast accuracy, and supply continuity metrics.

  • Support data integration, transformation, and planning data quality initiatives across enterprise systems.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a senior operational leader driving alignment across Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Data Center Operations.

  • Build and mentor high-performing planning teams in a fast-paced, highly complex cloud infrastructure environment.

  • Influence executive stakeholders through data-driven decision-making, operational insights, and strategic planning recommendations.

  • Lead large-scale planning transformation initiatives supporting OCI business growth and scalability.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, demand/supply management, manufacturing operations, or cloud infrastructure supply chain environments.

  • Proven experience leading global supply planning organizations within high-growth technology or infrastructure businesses.

  • Experience managing complex hardware supply chains, contract manufacturing, and constrained component environments.

  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning applications including:

  • Supply Planning

  • Demand Planning

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

  • Global Order Promising (GOP)

  • ASCP or equivalent planning solutions

  • Experience supporting large-scale cloud infrastructure, server, networking, or data center operations preferred.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional operational initiatives and executive-level stakeholder engagement.

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Deep understanding of manufacturing, inventory management, procurement, and supply chain operations.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud technologies, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SQL, data modeling, and enterprise planning systems.

  • Knowledge of KPI development, supply chain analytics, and operational performance management.

  • Experience with cloud operations, infrastructure planning, or technical supply chain environments preferred.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
