Sr. Principal Consultant.1

Lead and scale the Databricks Center of Excellence, owning strategy, GTM, governance, partner alignment, and delivery excellence for Databricks Lakehouse, AI, and GenAI solutions. Own the lifecycle of Databricks-specific accelerators and IP assets that support delivery and presales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define Databricks CoE vision, roadmap, and operating model

  • Establish Databricks as the default Lakehouse platform

  • Own Databricks GTM offerings, industry solutions, and accelerators

  • Drive Databricks partner alignment, certifications, and maturity

  • Govern architecture, security, FinOps, and delivery standards

  • Act as executive sponsor for strategic Databricks engagements

  • Build and mentor senior Databricks leadership team

  • Design reusable Databricks frameworks and accelerators

  • Build ingestion, DQ, and medallion pipelines

  • Ensure accelerators leverage Databricks native features

  • Maintain documentation and demo environments

  • Support Databricks presales and PoCs

Experience

  • 14–16 years in Data & Analytics

  • 3+ years leading data platforms or CoEs

  • 4+ years of Databricks platform ownership or large-scale implementations

  • Strong presales and executive stakeholder experience

  • Experience in building offerings and solutions

Skills

  • Deep understanding of Databricks Lakehouse architecture

  • Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog (conceptual + practical)

  • Multi-cloud Databricks strategy (AWS / Azure / GCP)

  • GTM, alliance management, and revenue ownership

  • Strong leadership, governance, and decision-making skills

  • Databricks notebook & Jobs framework

  • Spark & Delta Lake

  • CI/CD and code packaging, Framework design mindset
