Sr. Deal DeskAnalyst

Role Summary

Sr. Deal Desk Analyst is a key driver in managing Pricing for HMH, Providing Analysis of pricing changes and impacts, review/maintenance of empowerment and driving the annual pricing update process. Position will be a go-to for Pricing questions and providing data required to make decisions and answer appropriate questions from stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual pricing process, including coordination, analysis, stakeholder alignment, and execution of pricing updates.
  • Perform pricing analysis for state contract and large bids, RFPs and complex group price parity situations, ensuring pricing decisions are well-supported, consistent and in alignment with line of business goals and .
  • Manage project deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion, including oversight of the Smartsheet database of pricing projects and related tracking processes.
  • Serve as a go-to resource/subject matter expert for pricing questions and providing accurate data and analysis to respond to stakeholder needs.
  • Provide competitive benchmarking and pricing impact analysis to support strategic decisions, policy updates, and growth-aligned pricing recommendations. and
  • Use business intelligence tools to identify key issues, trends, risks, and opportunities across pricing activities.
  • Develop, improve, and standardize pricing analytic reporting, presentations, methodologies, and processes through advanced analytical thinking.
  • Audit Support of Pricing decisions as well as Review and Guidance on Most Favored Nations (MFN) issues to ensure reglatory compliance
  • Manage and Control BU Embedded and Connected Allocations for cross BU reporting and Incentive Compensation calculation
  • Salesforce/RCA maintenance with respect but not limited to pricing updates, empowerment and promotional levers, approval escalation limits
