Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $135,600 to $226,100 annually, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $162,720 to $189,840 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Scope of Job: The Sr. Pre-Construction Manager is responsible for leading the regional pre-construction efforts for Solar, On-Shore Wind, High Voltage, and Energy Storage Projects within EDF Renewables Grid-Scale Power portfolio.
Working with cross-functional teams, and subject-matter-experts, this position will lead project-related activities pertaining to procurement of EPC construction services from RFP launch through contract execution, BoP cost estimating, constructability risk analysis, and scheduling. The position will also provide support during project acquisition, offtake negotiation, project permitting, stakeholder consultation, construction, and handover to Asset Optimization.
In addition to project-supporting tasks, the position will support continuous improvement initiatives such as documenting and improving processes and procedures, market and industry knowledge, levelized cost of energy (LCOE) reduction, maintaining EPC contract templates, and contributing to the development of digital tools.
This position is Hybrid, based in San Diego, CA (Rancho Bernardo). Hybrid is typically three days a week Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Supervision of Others: N/A
Working Conditions: Approximately 95% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Office Suite, Tableau, etc.), phones, and general office equipment. Approximately 5% of the time is spent in the field nationally and internationally, visiting potential and existing projects, evaluating sites, and meeting project team members and various stakeholders.
