Job Description

We are seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Senior PlatformSoftware Engineer, you will have relevant experience with both front-end and back-end coding languages, software development architecture and design patterns, development frameworks and third-party libraries. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in DevOps and automation coupled with excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. Success in this role requires tight collaboration with product and design teams and intimate knowledge of business processes. This individual must be creative, collaborative, organized, and adaptable.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test applications (e.g. API, Webapps) in accordance with established standards.
  • Teach and mentor methods of rapid prototyping using generative AI tools and techniques.
  • Identify, experiment, and scale MCP use cases to enable our products for scaled GenAI and Agentic solutions.
  • Investigate and determine pragmatic applications for tiered agentic solutions using worker, manager, and conductor agentic systems designs.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to align on strategic initiatives and AI “Experiments” that will shape the future of our platform.
  • Architect and ship GenAI systems, agentic workflows, and ML-powered tooling to multiply engineering productivity and unlock new product capabilities
  • Own mission-critical distributed systems, payments infrastructure, ledger optimizations, and real-time financial data pipelines where downtime isn't an option
  • Design and maintain the ML/Data Platform that powers intelligent productsacross the organization
  • Build AI agents and agentic systems that transform how we develop software, serve customers, and scale operations
  • Drive experimentation, rapid prototyping, fast failure, and data-driven iterations
  • Work closely with the AI Center of Excellence and stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in AI/ML and distributed systems architecture
  • Champion engineering excellence through code reviews, thorough documentation, and technical guidance
  • Foster an environment where different backgrounds, cultures, industry and life experiences are embraced and valued
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues and bugs in applications.
  • Create design diagrams and technical documentation
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in software or solution architecture roles, with a focus on designing and implementing complex, enterprise-level solutions using cloud platform
  • Hands-on Generative AI experience—not just awareness, but actual implementation of LLM-powered applications, agents, or agentic systems
  • Proven track record owning mission-critical distributed systems (such as payments, financial infrastructure, high-throughput data pipelines, ledger systems)
  • Self-directed problem-solving—you don't wait for requirements, you identify opportunities and architect solutions
  • Ownership mentality—you're a highly self-motivated individual who gets things done and sees problems through end-to-end
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Delivery patterns, Cloud foundational patterns, Observability patterns, Developer experience patterns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Technical Proficiency and Skills

  • Proficiency with some or all of following:
  • Node.js
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • Apollo GraphQL
  • Git Version Control System
  • PostgreSQL
  • Google Cloud
  • Experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph and LangSmith
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms, preferably GCP
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Expertise in delivering secure, high performance, fault tolerant, and high availability solutions
