As a Sr. Planning Manager in the ACES team, this position involves taking ownership to lead the standardization and simplification of planning cycles, inputs, outputs, and mechanisms across the Network. Working with our partners in Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, you will own the standardization of Amazon BR Ops planning.

This role is for candidates with a background and experience in Financial Planning, Volume Planning, and or Supply Chain Planning.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage planning of major cycles (OPx, QxG) as well as HVE (High Volume Events) in Brazil Operations, including managing deliverables, stakeholders, communication, and more;

- Monitor KPIs related to success metrics, focusing on continuous improvement in all aspects of the process;

- Develop contingency plans to address unexpected issues or demand fluctuations;

- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, manuals, and documents;

- Write complex documents to present to leadership;

- Own and manage change on a granular level;

- Maintain clear communication with leadership at all times.

Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) is a team of highly qualified individuals whose main goal is to ensure quality control and continuous improvement. We do this by keeping a close eye on metrics, making sure that we are constantly raising the bar on productivity, quality, and speed. We are also responsible for the adoption of new technology and standards as well as supporting our peers with subject matter expertise.

Basic Qualifications


- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
- Background and experience in Financial Planning, Volume Planning, and/or Supply Chain Planning

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- MBA in Finance, Logistics, or Supply Chain
