Job Description


The Sr Compliance Analyst oversees regulatory and business compliance practices. Uses functional and technical expertise to evaluate day-to-day operations, establishes robust auditing procedures, guides stakeholders, and partners with the Payroll Manager to sustain a comprehensive payroll compliance operations program. Collaborates with multiple stakeholders, technology partners, and other shared services team members.

Responsibilities:
25% Provides subject matter expertise for payroll practices and processes while participating in evaluation, design, implementation, and support of auditing and oversight activities.

25% Nurtures strong bilateral partnerships with stakeholders. Elicits and evaluates operational deficiencies and recommends business process adjustments for planning and prioritization.

20% Liaises with Legal, TR Compliance programs, HR Systems (GHRS), Intelligent Process Automation (IPA), and other internal and external partners to extract, interpret, and operationalize system and behavioral updates.

10% Leverages and coaches pay and time performers during testing and analysis activities and assists with day-to-day escalations for troubleshooting and resolution.

10% Identifies and analyzes metrics to support KPIs and OKRs then monitor, measure, and provide feedback on performance to help evaluate compliance gaps and successes.

10% Monitors regulatory changes that affect related processes and coordinates updates to the knowledge base, SOPs and resource information for processing and ensuring those requirements are met through business practices.

Works with limited supervision, escalating only the more complex matters to leadership team members for direction and guidance.

5% Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 5-10 years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.
• Bachelor’s Degree specializing in HR, Business or related field, OR equivalent work experience in human resources/payroll within a business environment
• 6+ years’ experience with large company, working directly in a Payroll environment
•Strong coordination skills are essential to success
• Must have excellent writing and communication skills. Above average ability to read, write, and speak English. Multilingual a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple, often complex, tasks at the same time.
• Ability to stay focused on key timeline/deliverables.
• Strong project, time management, and organizational skills.
• Advanced technical capability producing complex reporting, dashboards, and other analytical visuals for stakeholders
• Experience in RPA, AI or other advanced technical process capability desired
• Intermediate experience utilizing ITSM or related inquiry management tools.
• Proactive, consistently anticipates stakeholders needs, self-motivated, accountable, and goal oriented.
• Expert level knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Travel: Occasional - 10%

Typical Office: Generally sedentary for prolonged periods, may occasionally require ability to move about or adjust/move items weighing up to 10 lbs. in all directions; Constantly requires collaboration and the ability to communicate with others to exchange information while in a typical office setting. Collaboration is generally conducted in person unless the role has been pre-approved for remote work.
