Job Description

Working at Atlassian

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity.

The Carahsoft Public Sector Senior Partner Manager is responsible for strategically engaging, developing, and managing Atlassian's relationship with Carahsoft to grow Atlassian’s market share across the US Public Sector. This role requires an exceptional individual with deep experience in the ecosystem business, the public sector market, and managing the Carahsoft partnership.

More about you:

You are a highly motivated, analytically driven business person with a critical focus on the Carahsoft relationship. You bring deep knowledge of the government market (federal, state, and local) and specifically possess a deep understanding of Carahsoft as the government aggregator. You drive ecosystem initiatives and understand partner culture and business needs to build successful partnerships.

Responsibilities

In this role you'll get to:

  • Develop and execute partner strategy and engagement plans, specifically leading the strategic engagement of Carahsoft to benefit the Public Sector Go-To-Market (GTM).

  • Drive sourcing of pipeline and grow license sales through the Carahsoft partnership to facilitate net new Annual Contract Value (ACV) growth.

  • Lead the innovation of the GTM model to maximize the effectiveness of the 30-person Carahsoft/Atlassian team.

  • Ensure partner engagement on product campaigns and marketing activities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, enablement, and programs for overall partner success.

  • Team with internal Atlassian Sales Teams and the Carahsoft/Atlassian team for coverage of enterprise customers.

Qualifications

On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years of experience working directly with Carahsoft

  • 5+ years of Partner Management experience

  • 5+ years of experience in the Public Sector domain (federal, state, and local government)

  • Strong knowledge of government contracting and the government aggregator ecosystem

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain executive-level relationships

  • Ability to profile, find, and sign government partnerships

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at an executive level while also executing hands-on

Preferred Experience:

  • Atlassian software knowledge

  • Distribution experience
